Music was in the air, on the rails and on the water in September, when a collection of music sheets and instruments recently undertook some long trips. The German company Transfracht and the UK's Air Partner fulfilled two successful forwarding ventures in this field.rnTFG Transfracht and its partner CTS Container Terminal recently handled a project which proved that the logistics for a monumental production is akin to a cycle of operas composed by Richard Wagner. A total of 200 t of goods, including an ironing board, washing powder for costumes, stage flooring covered with artificial grass, 200 kg of fireworks and an American jeep were stowed in 30 overseas containers at the inland port of Cologne-Niehl (Germany). The boxes were fed into the AlbatrosExpress network and conveyed to the port of Hamburg. From there the consignment was sent by sea to Shanghai (China).
