The Austrian forwarding company Express-lnterfracht, which was founded in Vienna in 1947 and belongs to Rail Cargo Austria (RCA), the logistics division of Austria's national railway (OeBB), wants to develop its role as a full service provider in the forwarding sector.rnExpress-lnterfracht (Exif), which has been trading under the umbrella of Rail Cargo Austria since 1999, reported sales of EUR 900 million in its last fiscal year. Of this sum, EUR 480 million was made in Austria. Two thirds of the firm's volume is conveyed by rail, which will remain the main mode of transport in the future, given that RCA, or rather its parent Oster-reichische Bundesbahnen (OeBB), is Exif's sole owner.
