摘要

The board of directors of Russian Railways (RZD) has decided to establish a new subsidiary called RZD Logistics. Its main aim will be to improve railfreight transport, particularly door-to-door services. These are to be integrated into the existing service portfolio. RZD Logistics will offer forwarding, terminal activities, storage, customs clearance and supply chain management services with is own staff and partners. RZD will retain all the shares, except for one, which will be held by the non-profit organisation Zheldor-reforma.
