The International Journal of Information and Operations Management Education (IJIOME), is a fully refereed journal, generally covering continuing education and lifetime learning, particularly focusing on improving the quality of education and training of information systems (IS) and operations management (OM) subjects. This particular area has been ignored by innovations in teaching and learning, despite the fact that most business schools, engineering schools and companies around the world deal with information and operations management. Globalisation of market and operations places tremendous pressure on productive management of information systems and operations. Developing suitable training strategies, techniques and tools for effective learning of information systems and operations management is of paramount importance in 21st century organisational competitiveness. Innovation in learning is the key to success in information systems and operations management education.
