This book addresses the perennial conundrum of why some software projects succeed while others coming from a similar stable fail dramatically. Where this book differs from other work in the area is that it is concerned specifically with Open Source Software (OSS). To this end the authors examine factors which might help lead to success in OSS projects and to contribute towards a better understanding of Internet collaboration.
