Transient Analysis of a Queue with Environmental and Catastrophic Effects

In this paper, we undertake the transient analysis of a limited capacity queueing system with two environmental states in the presence of catastrophes. The effects of environmental change and catastrophes are extensively dealt with. The steady state behavior of the queueing system is also discussed as a particular case.
