摘要

This workshop aims to examine the political communication of political actors and their citizen audiences. In particular, the workshop aims to focus on issues such as the way political actors communicate with both their supporters and adversaries with the aid of new communication platforms that enable the wide dissemination of information; the possible new participation patterns among citizens and the reinforcement of the existing practices by digital technologies; the potential challenges between traditional forms of political engagement and the new online participatory behaviours.
