摘要

Using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) and Dewey's Theory of Experience, this phenomenological study explored the experiences of faculty who engaged in online teaching at one school of public health. Findings revealed that the experiences of public health faculty, who engaged in online teaching, were similar and consistent with those found in other disciplines. The results of this study yielded three overarching themes common to the experiences examined: rhetoric of fear, transformation, and negotiation between organizational spaces and institutional support.
