A bus-type software model based on CORBA and XML

摘要

Recently, CORBA or XML is deeply researched respectively, but researches related both are rare and only consider XML an additional function of CORBA. If combining them together as a software model, a bus-type architecture appears, which consists of two buses, function bus and data bus; the former, based on CORBA, responses for inter-operation between systems in order to implement the distributed computing, while the later, based on XML, manages the seamless data access to carry out the data distribution. The model features the access of distributed data compared with its counterparts. Therefore, it requires XML has more functions than current ones, and to fulfill the goal, it is needed to design a special component, so-called XML manager, which not only has the basic function of data exchange, but also has the function of transferring, managing even storing data to archive the objective of data distribution.
