摘要

Sometimes a technology can come along too soon. I thought I knew it but now I think I know it. You see, I am today staring at my technology RSS news stories floating by, and not for the first time this week, I see a good lot of space devoted to Near Field Communication (NFC) enabled phones (Mandalia, 201 l;Clark,2011). To provide a recap for some readers, Near Field Communication (NFC) is a specification for contactless communication between two devices. It is based on the technology used for RFID and is standardised in ISO/IEC 18092. It is limited to a distance between the two devices of up to 10 cm and intended to make it easier and more convenient to make transactions, exchange digital content, and connect electronic devices with a touch (NFC Forum, 2011).
