Peru's Camisea (Block 88) and Pagoreni (Block 56) hold proven reserves of 8.79 Tcf, according to the latest assessment by Gaffney, Cline and Associates. This is about a quarter less than the 11.79 Tcf published by the gasfields' operator, Argentina's Pluspetrol in December. Pluspetrol though disputes the figure and claims that new drilling projects will prove up reserves b 5.3 Tcf, raising it to 14.1Tcf as announced by the company at the end of last year (IGR 626/31).
