Red-chip real estate developer shenzhen investment held a bank meeting in Taipei on June 24 for a US$800m five-year term loan in a bid to woo new lenders from the island. About 10 Taiwanese lenders attended the meeting. The refinancing, with an average life of 4.25 years, is offering an all-in of 400bp via a margin of 375bp over Libor. Shenzhen Investment agreed a US$447m five-year loan in October 2013 that was increased from an original target of US$400m. The loan paid an all-in of 280bp via a 95bp upfront fee. The facility has an average life of 4.75 years and a margin of 260bp over Libor.
