Yates quits Citigroup as equity derivatives bloom

Simon Yates has resigned from his role as global head of equity derivatives at citigroup to join New York-based broker-dealer Two Sigma Securities as CEO. His departure comes after a four-year stint at the helm of an ambitious rebuild, during which the business gained significant traction, delivering year-on-year revenue increases of around 90%. Yates joined the US bank in 2010 to run equity derivatives for the Americas and two years later was promoted to run the business globally.
