The scales don't lie - a fact that my girlfriend will no doubt soon confront me with on the back of a few days of culinary excess in Switzerland. I always enjoy going out to see clients, but there is little that competes with a night out with the front office folks from the private banks. There is always a coyness when one is out with institutional investors - no matter how long you've known each other, information always comes back well redacted - but the private banking chaps never have a problem calling a spade a spade.
