European investors keen to get their hands on apple bonds will have to wait for at least a couple of weeks to see the issuer come to market, dashing hopes that it would be quick to diversify away from the US. The tech giant brought a US$12bn seven-tranche bond to the US market on Tuesday that attracted more than US$35bn of demand. However, investors in Europe eager for a euro and/or sterling issue will have to be patient, after Apple confirmed on a call that there was "no imminent transaction planned for Europe".
