Eurozone sovereigns will have to adapt their tactics and lean more on market-markers as a way of preventing liquidity from drying up in light of the ECB's quantitative easing programme, according to government treasury officials. Several market participants have expressed concerns the central bank's €60bn-a-month asset purchase programme is reducing liquidity, leading to a rise in volatility. ECB's president Mario Draghi has warned markets to get used to periods of uncertainty. "We should get used to periods of higher volatility," he said earlier this month. "At very low levels of interest rates, asset prices tend to show higher volatility."
