Nomura investment bank raised W150bn (US$135m) in South Korea's local bond market, becoming only the second foreign investment bank to sell so-called Arirang bonds since the market opened up in the 1990s. Foreign issuers sell Arirang bonds, denominated in Won, to South Korean investors.
