National Australia Bank and Westpac have joined as equal-status arrangers on Australian telco tpg telecom's A$2bn (US$1.53bn) multi-tranche loan for its acquisition of local internet provider iiNet. Last month, ANZ had initially underwritten the loan on a sole basis, ahead of its expected launch into general syndication this week. Besides also refinancing existing debt, the loan will provide funds for general corporate purposes. The partially amortising loan has term and revolving credit tranches with several maturities of up to five years.
