A mandate from Berlin hyp suggests that the covered sector may be warming to Green bonds, but this looks set to be a slow-burning trend regardless of the deal's success. Berlin Hyp has appointed Credit Agricole OB, DZ Bank, JP Morgan, LBBW and UniCredit to arrange a European roadshow from Tuesday April 14, paving the way for a euro-denominated "Green Pfandbrief". Climate Bonds Initiative, a non-profit group based in London, believes that Green bond issuance is likely to hit US$50bn in 2015, compared with last year's US$36.6bn.
