Etsy, a popular e-commerce site focused on selling handmade or vintage items, launched a US$266m IPO that will allow VC backers to start monetising their investment as well as fund working capital and investment. The company is selling 13.3m primary shares and insiders are selling 3.3m shares in the offering, together comprising about 15% of outstanding. The shares are being marketed at US$14-$16 each, valuing the company at US$1.8bn.
