Swisscom took advantage of hunger for yield and duration amid ultra-low rates on Monday to bring a short eight-year note and a 20-year note, respectively marking the lowest coupon and the longest tenor from a Single A rated corporate in the Swiss franc market. The price-sensitive issuer prioritised spread over size, leveraging its dominant market position and name recognition to get very tight spreads.
