Olam ties margin to ESG metrics

Olam international has raised a three-year sustainability-linked revolving credit facility of US$500m, the first loan in Asia to tie the interest margin to the borrower's performance on environmental, social and governance metrics. The move follows the release of the Green Loan Principles by the London-based Loan Market Association and Hong Kong-headquartered Asia Pacific Loan Market Association on March 21.
