Singapore's quiet IPO market is seeing some activity with three issuers preparing for real estate investment trust and business trust floats totalling US$1.2bn this year.US-based DIGITAL REALTY TRUST is planning a US$300m-$400m REIT IPO and EMPYRION DC TRUST a US$500m business trust IPO. Both vehicles will comprise data centres and have started preliminary marketing.In addition, Chinese property developer SEAZEN CROUP is planning to list some retail assets via a S$200m-$300m (US$148m-$222m) REIT IPO and has started doing early marketing.The Covid-19 pandemic has weakened the outlook for office, retail and hospitality REITs. Core Income Global REIT shelved a S$410m IPO in April on weak demand. Sponsored by South Korea's AIP Asset Management and Japan's Tokyu Land, the REIT holds Australian commercial properties.SGX's only main board listing this year, LED lighting and data communications products maker Aztech Global, last traded at S$1.12 below the IPO price of S$1.38. The company raised S$297m.
