Global regulators are keeping a close watch on banks' exposures to leveraged loans and collateralised loan obligations (CLOs) for potential flashpoints as corporate and public debt levels continue to rise. The Financial Stability Board, which coordinates global financial regulation, said last week it was monitoring riskier credit instruments and collecting data to get a fuller picture of exposures.
