After a bruising second quarter, investment banking boutiques are looking to the second half - and the fourth quarter in particular -to make up for lost revenue. "The world's getting better," said moelis chief executive Ken Moelis on a call with analysts on Tuesday. "It seems like animal spirits in the world, and the desire for people to do transactions is improving marginally every week. So I could see the fourth quarter being strong."
