More to Come: the Government's Ten Point Plan for a Green Industrial Revolution

Two weeks ago, Britain's Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, launched his much-trumpeted Ten Point Plan for a "Green Industrial Revolution". Writing in The Financial Times on the 18 November, he stated that "humanity is slowly taking the upper hand in the fight against the virus", and that we must use the same extraordinary powers of scientific invention that were defeating it to "repair the economic damage from Covid-19, and to build back better". His plan promises to mobilise £12bn of government investment, and potentially three times as much from the private sector, to create and support up to 250,000 new green jobs and spur this green revolution.
