Water Conference Postponed

A general strike in Bangladesh forced the postponement of the Dhaka Water Catastrophe 2020 conference, originally scheduled for November 30. The one day event, organised by the Society of Dyers and Colourists (SDC), was planned to discuss the environmental issues affecting Bangladesh, focusing on the challenges facing the textile industry and addressing the benefits of dyehouse good practice, the role of the retailer and the potential of new technology. The SDC said it would contact delegates in the New Year to confirm the dates of the event.
