PLB has appointed a new managing director in time for the start of next year. The UK drinks importer and distributor said that Peter Darbyshire, who has held the role for six-and-a-half years, will stand down at the end of December. Darbyshire, who will stay on as a non-executive director, will be placed by PLB's sales director, John Osborne. PLB's owner, Jeffrey Fredericks, handed his executive chairmanship to his son, Simon Fredericks, the company's former finance director.
