Editorial Insights and Implications: WikiLeaks: Freedom of Speech, Freedom of the Press

WikiLeaks has been confused with the Wikipedia, much to the consternation of the latter. Wikipedia is, deservedly, one of the World Wide Web's great success stories, a particapatory encyclopedia on a par with, if not better than, the previous high level paper-based standard for encyclopedias: the Encyclopedia Britannica. It popularized the notion of a wiki, a participatory website tool that enables and supports online collaboration.
