Mechanical design specialist joins Phoenix

Phoenix Inspection Systems has appointed Tony Price as Senior Mechanical Design Engineer working on bespoke testing equipment for use in industries including power generation, nuclear and aerospace.rnTony, who joins from consultancy Assystem UK, has over 30 years' experience in mechanical design. He began his career in the drawing office of a large cable manufacturer and worked as a designer in various companies, includingrnBNFL, before spending 15 years at SGS Sonomatic, initiallyrnas a mechanical designer and later becoming manager of its mechanical design department. More recently he has worked for a variety of companies in the nuclear area, including Assystem UK, where he focused on design work for Rolls-Royce.
