Iwas lecturing at Birmingham University the other week. As I walked back across the campus at lunchtime it really seemed as if spring had arrived. The sun was shining, the crocuses were out and the students were playing frisbee on the grass. The next day at home, a bitterly cold wind blew the wheelie bin over. I hope you all find the quality of the papers in Insight a bit more consistent than our weather!
