Jeffrey Lynn Garner

This month I am featuring an outstanding member of the United States non-destructive testing community, who also recently became a member of the British Institute of Non-Destructive Testing. I chose to feature Jeffrey Lynn Garner as an example of how Americans gravitate to NDT and how they progress within the industry.Jeff joined the Army in 1986 and attended basic training at Fort Knox, Kentucky. He was transferred to Fort Rucker, AL, which was the US Army's aviation headquarters for Advanced Individual Training (AIT), where he became a helicopter mechanic for UH-1H helicopters, the infamous Huev.
