This months issue of Insight has a theme of working together to improve our industry and highlights how change is being embraced to further this. The technical content offers an interesting collection of papers from a variety of cutting-edge researchers from around the globe, all working towards improving the ability of non-destructive testing methods to produce quantitative results. The methods covered include ACFM (China), vibration condition monitoring (Egypt/Germany and Saudi Arabia/Australia), ultrasonic SAFT (India), guided waves (Korea) and flux leakage wire rope inspection (China). This also amply illustrates how global NDT has become.
