Applied Insight acquires Bridges

Applied Insight is set to announce today it has acquired Bridges, which specializes in cybersecurity, network engineering and big data analytics for intelligence agencies. Applied Insight said Bridges will add to its work in network security, cross-domain technology and analytics development with artificial intelligence. Applied Insight said the deal will also bolster its intellectual property. In an interview with Inside Defense, Dede Dascalu, Applied Insight's chief executive, said the two companies have partnered in the past.
