DARPA Seeks Industry Input On Jam-Resistant Radio Frequency Comms

The Pentagon's advanced research arm seeks industry's help on techniques for jam-resistant radio frequency communications in the first step of what could be a larger effort. In a new broad agency announcement released Monday for the Hyper-wideband Enabled RF Messaging, or HERMES, program, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency seeks proposals to "explore the feasibility of a wideband spread-spectrum [radio frequency] communications system with greater than 10 GHz of instantaneous bandwidth."
