A Federal Energy Regulatory Commission administrative lawnjudge on May 16 ended an investigation of MIGC’S ratesnbecause of the Wyoming pipeline’s recent loss of contracts and revenues. FERC launched the probe last fall after commissionnstaff found that the 256-mile interstate pipeline had returns onnequity of 47.74% and 57.14% in 2009 and 2010, respectively.nBut FERC staff last month took the unusual step of asking thenALJ to end the Natural Gas Act Section 5 proceeding becausenthe pipeline is expected to lose 130,000 Mcf/d of contracts.
