FERC launched the probe last fall after commissionnstaff found that the 256-mile interstate pipeline had returns onnequity of 47.74% and 57.14% in 2009 and 2010, respectively.nBut FERC staff last month took the unusual step of asking thenALJ to end the Natural Gas Act Section 5 proceeding becausenthe pipeline is expected to lose 130,000 Mcf/d of contracts.
