Dielectric and Magnetic Properties of SrTiO_3-BiMnO_3 Solid Solutions

SrTiO-3-BiMnO-3 solid solutions with a cubic perovskite structure are synthesized in the range 30-70 mol % BiMnO_3. The solid solutions containing 60 and 70 mol % BiMnO_3 exhibit high dielectric losses in the microwave range and are, therefore, potential microwave absorbing materials. The real part of rf magnetic susceptibility of the sample containing 60 mol % BiMnO_3 lies in the range 2-3.
