摘要

Several austenite corrosion-resistant steels (ACRSs) doped with nitrogen are investigated for resistance to pitting corrosion (PC). As a result of electrochemical studies, polarization curves are obtained and pitting potentials E_p are determined. In parallel, resistance to PC is calculated, on the basis of which correlation equations relating the potential E_p to the chemical composition of nitrogen-containing steels are developed and suggested.
