When is a folding carton not just a folding carton? When it is a polygonal box created with an automated manufactured process that really stands out on the shelf. Imagine the elimination of expensive manual steps but still taking advantage of the full range of finishing effects. That's exactly what Philipp Eissner, Group Innovation Manager at AR Packaging Group, has accomplished with the "Meteor" project, created to showcase the unique capabilities of AR Packaging together with Sappi Fine Paper Europe and other PrintCity partners. This project, proved that a concept that initially sounded like a contradiction in terms is in fact a roadmap to success.
