High demand for new food microbiology proficiency fesfs launched in 2018

The food industry is being supported in tackling the risks to public health from Listeria, E. coli 0157 and Campylobacter, thanks to a range of targeted new food microbiology proficiency tests that were launched by Fapas in its 2018 programme. The six new tests developed by Fapas, the proficiency testing arm of Fera, were set up to help testing laboratories analyse their results, identify trends and demonstrate their competency to their customers, accreditation bodies and managers.
