摘要

The joint health market is predicted to grow at a CACR 6.6% over the next five years, from 2019 to 20241. This is linked to the growing demand from aging consumer groups for nutritional solutions that safeguard mobility and healthy, active aging from one side, and to the increasing interest for supplements that support an active lifestyle on the other. Joint health concerns have long been attributed to older consumers. As the body ages, joints are exposed to natural wear-and-tear and cartilage degeneration, which may affect the consumer's ability to remain active. The global population is growing older and living longer, with the total number of people aged 60 and over expected to reach 16% of the global population by 20 302. As a result, it is becoming essential for those who we refer to as "healthy agers" to redefine their approach to joint health by actively seeking a preventative approach through nutritional solutions that support mobility and independence for longer.
