SaaS Integration Gets A Startup Boost

Recent announcements from three startups-Boomi, SnapLogic, and Cast Iron Systems-show how wide-ranging approaches can be to integrating software as a service with on-prem-ises software. Boomi integrates SaaS and on-prem-ises software via the Web using its Boomi On Demand technology. Once an application is connected to Boomi On Demand, it can operate with the SaaS and on-premises apps that Boomi supports, such as NetSuite, Oracle E-Business, Salesforce.com, and SAP ERR Boomi has announced that it will offer this fall a development kit that will let software vendors create connections to Boomi On Demand.
