On a recent trip to the Washington, D.C. area, I took the time to go down to the National Mall and tour a few of the excellent, and free, museums. As I have grown older, I have come to appreciate history more and more. Unfortunately, many people are so caught up in their daily activities that they fail to see when innovative change and cultural shifts are really occurring. Studying our historical progress helps us understand where we are and where we might want to go from a strategic change perspective.
