'Dynamic Tamping Express' a High Output Tamping and Stabilising Machine Inducted

In order to maintain its tracks in impeccable working order and to keep high levels of safety standards, Indian Railways is procuring and using latest machines and technologies available in the world. In this connection Northern Railway has inducted a Dynamic Tamping Express Machine for Broad Gauge Tracks. This machines has been manufactured in India under 'Make In India' initiative with imported components and is the first of a series of 42 machines that are going to be in service over Indian Railways. Shri M.K. Gupta, Member Engineering, Railway Board recently inducted the Machine on the tracks of Northern Railway.
