Chairman, Railway Board Visits RDSO

Chairman, Railway Board Shri Ashwini Lohani made his maiden visit to RDSO, Lucknow on 23 November, 2017. He discussed with all senior officers at length about its structure, functions and working. RDSO presented important recently completed and on-going projects and developments by RDSO. On this occasion, he released a book titled "Guidelines on development of existing buildings to Green Buildings on Indian Railways" made by RDSO. CRB also visited the Signal Lab, Brake-Dynamometer Lab and Metallurgical & Chemical Lab of RDSO. Later, he also addressed a huge gathering of RDSO officers and staff in the RDSO Auditorium. He said that Indian Railways is a great organization which has been delivering well over the years. RDSO has a unique role in Indian Railways and has been doing great work, but its image has to improve. For this, everyone has to work hard, honestly and deliver better results. He also emphasized on the need of structural and process reforms to make the working more efficient, transparent and accountable. He committed to full support from Railway Board to enable these changes.
