India's First National Rail SC Transportation Institute Dedicated to the Nation by Chief Minister of Gujarat and Minister of Railways SC Coal

In a series of achievements of Indian Railways, another feather in the hat by dedicating India's first Rail and Transportation institute -the National Rail and Transportation Institute (NRTI] to the country. Focused on transport related education, multi-disciplinary research and training, located in Vadodara, the Deemed to be University is the brain child of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi. Vadodara the city of rich history and pioneer in Railway works, is also the city to have its one of a kind railway and transport univer- sity in India. Shri Vijaybhai Rupani, Chief Minister of Gujarat & Shri Piyush Goyal, Minister of Railways & Coal dedicated this educational edifice to the nation on 15 December, 2018 at the NRTI campus in the august presence of Dr. Jigishaben Sheth, Mayor of Vadodara, Smt. Ranjanben Bhatt, Member of Parliament and Shri Yogesh Patel, MLA.
