Objective assessment of abrasive damage of jute-based fabric surface by digital image analysis

The texture analysis methods for the objective assessment of appearance change in jute-based fabric surfaces due to progressive abrasion have been examined with the digital image analysis technique. The various statistical features of three standard approaches of texture analysis, viz. Spatial gray level dependence method (SGLDM), gray level difference method (GLDM) and neighbourhood gray level dependence method (NGLDM), have been examined here.
