摘要

The effect of low-temperature plasma treatment on the surface modification of cotton and polyester fabrics has been investigated. The experimental results show that the method is useful in improving the wettability of cotton and polyester fabrics. The surface resistivity of cotton and polyester is dramatically reduced after plasma treatment. Low-temperature plasma method practically eliminates the application of chemical reagents for technological needs and attains the processing of unbleached cotton fabrics in air plasma of glow discharge followed by washing in hot water.
