Great job on the Logistics Planner (January 2013). I liked the column about force multipliers (Checking In With the Publisher). I wish I had been in that design/ editorial meeting to help Keith Biondo lobby for the concept, as I live where he was coming from! It is awesome that IL has traversed the military and civilian realms. I truly believe we can learn from each other. Joseph O'Reilly's article Comfort Zone: A Better, Faster FTZ (January 2013) highlights PortMiami's satellite program as something unique to the county. But FTZ 32 (Miami Free Zone) has been the flagship foreign trade zone in Miami-Dade County since 1977, and it, too, has Alternative Site Framework (ASF) approval. Why didn't this article feature all the FTZs-or at least the ones with ASF-within the same county?
