VT Halter Marine will build two liquefied natural gas-powered combination container and RoRo ships for Crowley Maritime. The ships will be able to carry 20- to 53-foot-long containers, as well as hundreds of vehicles in enclosed, weather-tight car decking. First American Carriers (FAC) and its affiliate International Trader's Inc. (ITI) now provide strategic freight management services for House of Raeford Farms. By leveraging FAC's freight management experience and ITI's redistribution platform, the poultry processor expects to improve the flow of goods to its retail and foodservice customers.
